Tickets:
Each senior will be given 6 tickets at Commencement Practice.
To request up to 4 additional tickets, students must access the Google form on Schoology by May 22. Students must be
logged into their school Google account to access the form.
These tickets will be distributed at Commencement Practice.
Handicap Accessible Seating:
Sections 104, 105, 110, 111, 209, and 210 are handicapped accessible for wheelchairs. Typically every top-
most row has ADA accessible seating. Signage is posted to direct guests that require accommodations.
All seating is first come, first served.
Arrive at the venue early if you or someone in your party needs seating accommodations.
PPL Center Bag Policy:
PPL strongly encourages clear bags, but allows small/medium purses that are not clear. Bags that are not clear are subject to additional screening. No bags exceeding 12" x 12" x 6" will be permitted inside. Special consideration will be made for guests with medical needs and those caring for infants (diaper bags).
Cap & Gown distribution:
All seniors who plan to walk at the Commencement Ceremony must have a cap and gown.
Pick up your pre-ordered cap and gown from Jostens during lunches on Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 20.
If you did not order your cap and gown, you may buy a unit from Jostens on these days for $50 using cash only.
Full day LCTI students and Cyber students may pick up their cap and gown units in the Main Office beginning Thursday, May 21, either before or after school.
Mandatory Commencement Practice:
Every senior who plans to participate in the Commencement Ceremony must attend Commencement Practice from approximately 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on June 3 at the PPL Center.
Bus transportation is ONLY provided from PHS to the PPL Center the morning of Commencement Practice for students who sign up in the Main
Office before Friday, May 22.
School buses will depart from the high school the morning of practice no later than 7:45 AM.
Students are permitted to drive to PPL Center. Students who drive should leave early to allow for traffic concerns and must pay for parking.
Students will enter the PPL Center through the loading dock entrance (7th & Linden Streets).
Students MUST attend graduation practice in order to attend that night’s graduation ceremony.
Students will receive their graduation tickets at practice.
Commencement - June 3rd at 7 PM Instructions
Students are to report by 5:45 PM to the Air Products entrance-7th & Linden.
Parents will utilize: 7th & Hamilton (WFMZ Gate), 7th & Linden (Air Products), and 8th & Linden (NJM Gate) which will open at 6:00 PM.
A limited supply of teddy bears, flowers, & T-shirts will be sold by The Commencement Group.|
Parking is available for a nominal fee at the PPL garage and other downtown lots.
Concessions will be open; alcohol sales are prohibited.
Attire
Students are required to wear all parts of the graduation cap/gown/tassel to participate.
Students are allowed to wear stoles from school related clubs and/or the military.
Examples of unacceptable stoles: non-military or non-school related, such as university/college, Girl/Boy Scouts, country of origin, etc.
Decorations of any kind are not allowed to be attached to your cap or gown in any way.
Administration reserves the right to confiscate any decorated items.
If a tassel is lost, a student may purchase one for $10.
Permitted attire underneath the cap and gown:
*Acceptable: shirt, tie, dress pants, dress skirt, blouse, and appropriate shoes.
*Unacceptable: sneakers, jeans, T-shirts with any writing or advertising of any kind, shorts and flip-flops.
Flowers, Teddy Bears, Etc.
All online orders will be available for pickup on site the day of the graduation. To retrieve your order, please stop by our booth located conveniently at the entrance to the graduation before the ceremony begins.

Graduation Photos:
EVENING OF JUNE 3 - CLASS OF 2026 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY 7 PM at PPL Center (Also available via Livestream). Grad Images will take photos as graduates accept their diplomas and as they leave the stage. Grad Images will send proofs via your student's school email account. All orders and correspondence must be made directly to the Grad Images company. Please be on the look out for an email from Gradimages to get the link for your pictures from the ceremony. The link will be sent to the student email and parent's email on file. Emails should be received within 7-10 business days of graduation. Any questions should be directed to Gradimages: 1-800-247-3435. Email Mrs. George, Assistant Principal, with any additional graduation questions at georgec@parklandsd.net.
