Parkland TV & Film logo

Parkland TV

Parkland High School received an Honorable Mention in the Student Television Network Convention's Crazy 8s Broadcast News Magazine Show competition on March 28. This is a news production competition where the team receives an assignment at 7:30 AM and must produce, plan, film, execute, edit, and publish their story by 4 PM. This is a very competitive competition attempted by the most student teams during the convention. Parkland students filmed all around the city of Seattle for the assignment of "Native American Culture". Out of the 300 schools and 4,000 students in attendance, a 4th place finish for a first-year team is extremely uncommon.
